Be chosen as a Team Leader to head up one of our DOR (Division of
Responsibilities).
There are only 4 (four) positions available for these
coveted spots. Not only will this position offer some VERY SPECIAL
privileges to you, this position will also take you through" basic training"
to be on our Tot Trade Staff when an opening becomes available! Only the
most dedicated, hardworking, organized, professional applicants will be
considered.
This position requires you to devote 24-hours during the
complete sale period. This is broken down into 6- hour shifts on March 10th,
March 11th, March 19th and March 20th. The REWARDS are great and something you are
going to want to know all about.

Oh how this pains
me! But because of our growth and our need to loosen up those racks and give
us more floor space to stretch out our merchandise, we had to come to a HARD
decision. We will no longer accept Girls Junior and Mommy Mart items. Ouch!
I know, it hurts to say good-bye! However, it's not a secret, we have grown
to capacity and we need to focus on what really sells and what our shoppers
are looking for. It's what we are hearing from you the most "we've grown and
need more space!" We assure you, should we ever be able to expand and
include those items again, we will. Mommy Mart items are limited to only to
those items that are kid/ child specific.

NEW Merchandise Acceptance Policies |

Inspection, Inspection,
Inspection. What a tough job this can sometimes be. Tot Trade has created an
"Inspection Staff" and specific guidelines as to what we will and will not
accept. Even with a list, it can sometimes be "debatable" what to accept or
not to accept as while you may not buy something, someone else might. Tot
Trade has such a diverse shopping audience that we feel we have to meet the
needs of all our shoppers.
However, that does not mean we will accept outdated items, damaged items or
items with stains.
We are putting new policies into place this season to check and double-check
our merchandise that we are presenting to our shoppers, but we also need
your help, do your part on your end. It needs to be your goal as well as
ours, to present only the best to our shoppers. Please pay close attention
to each and every item you consign with us. Do your own "home inspection"
before you arrive at drop off.
Due to safety, space
and ease of shopping we have made some updates to our acceptance policies.
- NO CAR SEATS
will be accepted.
Tot Trade is committed to the safety of our children and we have been
advised that recycled infant carries, car seats and booster seats are
not in the best interest of our children's safety. Each year car
seat manufacturers introduce products with even higher safety measures
and we want to ensure our customers are receiving products that are
child safe. Thank you for understanding this change in our policy.

No Juniors - We are not accepting
Girls Junior sizes. Because of space limitations we have had to
make the tough decision to discontinue Juniors. Juniors is
the least shopped department at our sale. We will however accept
top/blouses that are (manufactured) labeled Small/Medium/Large. Estimate
the size within the girls sizes up to 18. We'll look for these most
popular labels.

Mommy’s Mart – Will no longer be
accepted.
Ouch, how I hate to say that!
Furniture items must be kid specific.

No socks, tights, underwear, belts, hats,
hairbows, ties, suspenders -
if you have any of these items that are specific to your
outfit, please place in a ziploc bag and pin them to the outfit.

Movies and DVDS - will only be accepted in their
original sleeve or case. This goes without saying that no
"R" rated music or movies are accepted.

Mature Video games

will be heavily
inspected. Not all "M" games are acceptable for our sale.

Bedroom slippers

Books – Only children's books accepted

Pack-n-plays - Are accepted but they
must be assembled at inspection for approval

Stuffed Animals - Only those that walk,
talk or play music. We will accept Build-A-Bear and Webkinz. Please don't bring them otherwise. They will be
pulled from the floor.

No diaper bags or blankets - that come
from the hospital
